    1. I am not really sure what to say about this book. It was pretty depressing. (view spoiler)[and it is most definitely not the HEA you are hoping it to be while you're reading (hide spoiler)] Its a story of living, not just being. I liked it, I won't say I enjoyed itis isn't a happy story, not really.

    2. "The saying goes that people come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. I’d hoped andprayed that Kiernan would be with me for a lifetime, but in the end it was for a reason that he was sentto me. Kiernan changed my life. He changed me. He showed me that there was more to life thanexisting. Taught me how to live it, how to experience it, how to treasure it. He gave me hope, and love, and family. But above all, Kiernan Parks taught me how not to be afraid. And that was a lesson, fo [...]

    3. Warning to all - there is no happily ever after; I was left a sobbing mess Seriously, it was that good.Incredibly well written NA/YA book - first I've read by the author as I'm not really into the genre but it was fantastic, I was certainly not expecting the final turns the book took which bumped it from a 3.5 star to a 4.5-5 star book. I fear the ending of this will stay with me for a long time, like an alternate ending to a certain J.A. Redmerski book with Cameron - minus the road trip.(If you [...]

    4. Another surprisingly good YA book that tackles some worn-thin issues but in a slightly different and interesting way. Yes, there are a few cliche's in here but the story and characters kept me from putting the book down. And the few glasses of wine I had might have had something to do with it? Despite that, the writing was pretty darn good considering some of the high rated crap I've come across lately. If you're in the mood for a YA teen read that will make you cry- this is the one for you.Quic [...]

    5. WARNING!! This book will rip your heart out, stomp on it, then leave it in pieces. Exactly what I look for in a book. So, if you are like me you should just go buy it right now. I literally bawled for almost the entire second half of the book. Just when I thought that I was getting it together my heart was torn again.Jade Carlson had a real shit hand dealt to her. Literally everyone in her life was awful to her, and when people did try to be nice to her the years of emotional abuse that she had [...]

    6. 4.5 starsJade and Kiernan This is an emotional tale. One of love and loss. One of insecurities and bonds formed. Jade has never thought she was good enough for anything or anyone. So she has accepted her leper of a life. A life of loneliness. Kiernan is everything Jade has never wanted yet always wanted. He makes her feel feel everything. He has taken an interest in her and has opened up a world of emotions she never thought possible. But he has a secret. A secret that will break Jade. A secret [...]

    7. I forget I'm too old for YA books. All I do is rush through them while shaking my head in annoyance. Nothing particularly wrong with this book, and I'm sure if I were an actual young adult I'd rate this higher.

    8. Actual rating - 3.5I felt really sorry for the main character in this. The way people treated her was absolutely awful. This was a decent read, which made me a bit teary eyed at points. It kept my interest throughout, and I'm now looking forward to reading the rest of the books in the series.Overall, A good read.

    9. Jade is a broken young girl, after years dealing with her alcoholic, cruel, mean mother, her just as mean boyfriend and struggling through life in general she no longer has any confidence about herself, in fact she hates herself as well as the life she is living. Then her childhood valentine moves back into town. Kiernan may have been just a young boy when she last saw him but Jade can’t forget the boy she has been crushing on all these years, especially now he’s not a boy any longer and inst [...]

    10. 4.5 stars!I always look forward to the next book from this author and I've read all but one of her books, but I have to say this book definitely packed the most punch with me! It was amazing and had a lot in it! Not only was it about a girl who was treated really badly be shown just how special she is, but it was also about how your life can change in the blink of an eye! The plot of this book was just amazing! It started out with a bad situation and then it ended really emotionally! Also, when [...]

    11. This review can be found @ clockworkoriginPOSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD.I won't use the HTML code since I'm not sure if they're really fully 100% spoilers. Please excuse the impending rants and know that I'm writing this review with tears still in my eyes Oh, and the fact that my eyes are sore and I've got a headache from crying. Falling to Pieces happens to be my favorite book outside of my normal YA Fantasy genre. Several reasons to include as to why this is happens to be the following: The main cha [...]

    12. WOW I'm speechless right now and balling my eyes out. Full Blog Post @Book-Marks the SpotFalling to pieces is the perfect names for this book because that’s exactly what happened to me after reading it. I’m a blubbering mess and I. Just. Can’t. Words and thoughts have left me. I now have an empty space in my heart, but if this book taught me anything it’s to have hope and to love without abandon. Falling to pieces is a book that makes you are glad you read, but sad that you finished it. [...]

    13. I just had to postpone the review with a day. I needed serious recovery after I finished reading Falling to Pieces. After Fight or Flight and Sink or Swim I was sure that I already had two favorite titles from Jamie Canosa, but Falling to Pieces successfully squeezed itself to the top places in my preferences. I have no words to express what I felt after I closed the book; it was both sad and beautiful. In the beginning Jade is that kind of character at which you feel the need to scream because [...]

    14. Wow. Just. Wow. This book. It's so bittersweet with it's awesomeness. I'm not sure how to even write my review because I don't want to give a single part of this amazing book away. From the dedication all the way to the last page, I was sucked in and I felt everything.Jade has had a crappy life, with an alcoholic emotional abuser for a mother, and a jerk off for a boyfriend, neither one of these people have a problem treating Jade like crap and tearing her down with every word out of their mouth [...]

    15. Ok so I had to sleep on it to figure out where to begin with this review. I have to start off by saying there is not one thing I would change in this book! The writing is flawless! I usually have a hard time reading books told from one point of view because the authors usually have the characters describing themselves and it drives me crazy! I hate when they say things like "I am not skinny but curvy in all the right places" or "I know I'm not fat but I have low self esteem". Jade's story is tol [...]

    16. Oh my goodness. This book. Warning: Do not pick this up unless you have the day off and can allot some time for a serious ugly cry. I had read in countless reviews that this did not have a happy ending, but upon starting it, I promptly forgot that warning. The beginning of the book didn't immediately capture my love. It was good enough to keep me reading, but I had some serious issues with the main character, Jade. She is a girl who has been dealt a really brutal hand in life, with a sad excuse [...]

    17. I am always excited when Jamie releases a new book, and I was even more excited when she approached me about being apart of the blog tour for Falling to Pieces. Once again, Jamie hits it out of the park. She has the amazing ability to create characters that you can't help but fall head over heals for. From the very first page, I was hooked. I instantly felt for Jade and loved the idea of Kiernan being her knight in shining armor. I flew through this book, unable to put it down, spending my valua [...]

    18. REVIEW: 4 STARS!I could never put into words what I felt when I read this book. This book was so inspirational and taught you to love unconditionally and to stay strong when the going gets tough. I do want to warn you that crying is inevitable, you will cry it is just a matter of when. Jamie brings all these amazing people together and get a heartbreaking tale of love at first sight. Then, it is all taken away from you in a moments notice and you can't help but want it to change, to want things [...]

    19. Thank you to Ms. Canosa for an ecopy of this bookCover: She looks lonelyJade:Honestly, I want to punch her Why couldn't she defend herself? But in someways I don understand why she's like that, but stillKiernan:Thank God for him He, together with his family, were able to make Jade's life better If not for him, I might have forever hated Jade But his own story is still sadStory:The story made me cry again, this seems to be the norm whenever I read Ms. Canosas' books I can't help but really feel t [...]

    20. ** PROVIDED BY THE AUTHOR ** This was the second book I have read by Author Jamie Canosa. This was a VERY emotional story, so you may want a box of tissues nearby. Jamie did such a great job of making you feel apart of the story and the story line is an everyday story.Jade is used to being told she is nothing, would never amount to anything and would do anything. Kiernan is the "all-american" boy who sees something in Jade that he wants to help come alive. He is a protector of her and he helps h [...]

    21. Falling to Pieces by Jamie Canosa is not a book to take lightly or read on a whim. Please prepare yourself for angst and pain and sadness. A beautiful story of love and friendship and how the compassion of one person can bring another out of her shell and the pain she doesn't even realize she's been feeling her whole life.I do not want to give away any plot points - this is something you should experience yourself every step of the way.As it is part of a series I'm curious to see where the next [...]

    22. In a word, WOW!Starting out, I was bogged down by all of Jade's internalization and negativity, but the further I read, the more compelling Jade's story became. I couldn't put it down. I found myself grabbing my phone (I had the Kindle version) and reading wherever I could find time. I don't like to give spoilers, so I won't, but the emotion Jamie's words evoked was palpable. I truly felt the self-loathing, the anger, the hurt, the hope, the new love, anguish, and so much more. Jamie writes as t [...]

    23. I've edited this review 3 times now. I wasn't sure what to say about this book. Despite my initial feelings, which I'll elaborate on in a second, I did really enjoy this book. I mean, I read it in two days. And then I couldn't stop thinking about it, and then I read Angel, the novella that goes with this book from Cal's perspective. At first I didn't really like it. I didn't feel like the writing was very strong. It was cliché and hard to believe at times. The story though, the story I liked. An [...]

    24. Better than the fault in our stars . Totally worth the tearsFalling to pieces at the face of it is just about a girl within self esteem and a boy who is terminally ill. The story proves to be so much mire than that. You learn about Kiernan and his illness and his brother Caulder who is struggling to help everyone else's lives just a little bit easier. You meet Kiernan's mom who is a nurse and a mother to everyone she meets. And you meet Jade. The world is on her shoulders. Her mother is an alcoho [...]

    26. **I was given an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review**Wow!! Falling To Pieces is a TRUE love story!! I am in awe right now and still trying to wrap my head round what I just read. To say Jade has lived a difficult life would be putting it mildly. What makes this story soo great though is that her life, although not great, is totally believable. Canosa has floored me with her word smithing and literary skills. Kiernan and Jades story is one that I can honestly say I will r [...]
