    1. Wow awesome book! My absolute favorite from GA Hauser so far.Rod's portrayal was great, his emptiness, desperation and loneliness were palpable. The beginning of their relationship with Foley were great too. I understood why Foley had been apprehensive at first and not overenthusiastic to jump into relationship with such problematic guy. It pissed me off - sure - but I understood his motivation and I'm glad he gave Rod a chance and has been so supportive later on.The whole thing with Jack seemed [...]

    2. Rod is a former FBI undercover agent, released from prison after serving 10 years of a 20 year sentence for manslaughter. Foley is a doctor, two years out of the army as a field surgeon in the Iraqi War. Both men are damaged goods, fighting the nightmares that bleed over into their daytime lives, and neither believe they can love, or be loved, again.I was so impressed by Ms. Hauser's treatment of the issues presented in this story. Both men are dealing with PTSD, and the weariness and hopelessne [...]

    3. I paused in the middle of a chapter somewhere, wondering who the author was. I'd picked Hot Rod to read without looking at the author's name, just read the blurb and thought it sounded interesting. I was shockedocked, I tell you, when I saw that it was a G A Hauser! The reviews for this book are just a so-so 3 stars on average. It was a 5-star read for me. Not 5 stars compared to my other 5-star books but compared to the other Hausers and compared to the books on my Med cruise TBR list. HR has a [...]

    4. Now this was a dramatic story. Rod went true hell and still came out with a happy ending, really a strong character. The romance between Rod and the doc was enjoyable, but I couldn't connect to them as a couple. What ever developed between them it was to fast. But in general really enjoyable book with a HEA ending.

    5. That is really great story filled with a lot of emotions - we get anger, sadness, pain, love. And what I like the most is we get justice. G.A. Hauser done really great work with these book.
